To get started with Tapi, you will need to receive an SMS or Email to register within Tapi. Tapi then uses either a mobile data or WiFi connection to function. While Signal does not charge for these, this may incur costs from your carrier or mobile provider.

Tapi can also be used by individuals who want to communicate with their friends and family members.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became effective in Europe on May 25, 2018. Since Tapi was created to prioritize privacy, we had minimal adjustments to make. We do not use your data for ad targeting.

Tapi retains only the necessary information to operate as a comprehensive cloud service, allowing you to access it from any device without relying on third-party backups or your contacts.

You can write to people who are in your phone contacts and have Tapi. Another way of contacting people is to type their Tapi username (register and verified using their email address) into the search field – you don't need to know their phone number to do this.

People can contact you on Tapi if they know your phone number or if you message them first. If they don't know your phone number, they can find you if you both are members of the same team.

Yes. You can always delete any messages you sent or received for both sides in any one-on-one conversation (in groups, it's still your own messages only).

Yes! You can make end-to-end encrypted Voice Calls and Video Calls. If you want more participants, you can create a group call with one of you teams.

Each phone number is a separate account on Telegram. You have several options if you are using multiple phone numbers:

• moved to a new number and don't have access to your old number anymore, you can simply change your phone number.
• have access to your old number and can receive an SMS or a call to that number, you can keep both numbers

If you would like to delete your account, you can do this on the delete account page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your messages and contacts. All teams that you've created are orphaned and left without a creator but admins retain their rights.

As was just mentioned above, all your data will be flushed from our system: all messages, teams, and contacts associated with your account will be deleted. That said, your contacts will still be able to chat in the groups that you have created, and they will still have their copy of the messages you sent them.
